"As anyone who's trained for a marathon knows, runger is real. I become insatiable during those peak weeks of training. I need one of those shirts that says "I'm sorry for what I said when I was hungry". For the most part, I try to keep my diet pretty healthy and clean but I do have an intense love for Cheez-It's (my kids know not to eat out of "mom's box") and may or may not indulge in them nightly. I also love to put smoked Gouda on tomato sandwiches. And bacon on anything! Lately, I've really been enjoying the recipes from Shalane Flanagan's new cookbook, Run Fast, Eat Slow, particularly the Runner's High Peanut Sauce and the Chèvre and Fig Crostini.
