This was my first full and it was an amazing experience! Something I’ll never forget. The atmosphere the people running the volunteers, everything was great! I really appreciate everyone who worked in anyway to put this amazing race together. There will be other marathons for me but never one as special as this, my first. Congratulations to all the runners in the full, relay, and half races. I finished with a time of 4:29:15. Off my mark but I couldn’t be happier!

I speak as a wife of a first-time marathon runner and a spectator. From the get-go, after my husband signed up for the race, we had a lot of great information at our disposal. We knew exactly what was going to happen, when it'd happen, what was or wasn't available, etc. This made planning to meet up with my husband at various mile markers very easy, especially with the spectator guide and phone app (and this is really saying something, as we're new to Chattanooga, and I was toting two preschoolers). The race itself was excellent. The crowds were great, but not overwhelming. There was ample parking near the finish —a huge issue at most races. The expo was easy to navigate and featured great vendors. Most importantly, my husband felt really supported throughout the race, and he really appreciated the crowds, the water stations, his pacer, and all the amenities.

We were introduced to Hoff hot sauce. I bought a few extra bottles for my friends up in Cincinnati. We had a great time. I was there with my husband and friends of ours and their two kids as well. Great event. We will all be back next year.
