Hello to all the troops in Captain Cut Off's platoon. I hope your training is progressing well and you are set in your routine. If you've not started it is probably not too late, but don't put it off much longer. With a little assistance from Google a training plan for various levels of runners/walkers can easily be located. Assess your goals, find a plan, stick with it. This will not only get you across the finish line, but finishing happy and injury free. For beginners, focus on the distance more than pace. However, in the next few weeks target a minimum pace goal. Remember, to stay ahead of Captain Cut Off and on the official course you must maintain an average pace of at least 16 minutes miles. I'm including a couple of routes for upcoming long runs.
