As we continue to prepare for the 2019 Erlanger Chattanooga Marathon Weekend, we wanted to reach out and let you know about a change in the course for next spring. In an effort to continuously improve the event we are always talking to our participants and seeking feedback on the event. One of the things we kept hearing about was the split start/finish location. While folks seemed to enjoy the atmosphere at The Block and High Point Climbing, the logistics of the split venues was not as well received.

We have made the decision to move the start to First Tennessee Pavilion. The start and finish areas will now be the same. We think this will be a good change for several reasons. For starters, you get to sleep in a few extra minutes and don’t need to take a bus from the finish line to the start line! This change will also allow for a much easier morning for spectators and friends. Once the race is underway, spectators will be able to walk 50 yards from the start line to see athletes at mile 2 just next to the stadium.

We are excited about the change, and hope you will be too. If we can help with anything, please let us know. We look forward to seeing you in just a few short months. New course maps can be found on each specific race page.
